    Damn, tough call.

Let's do some other fights that didn't happen:

Vitali Klitschko vs Lennox Lewis, Vitali at about age 32, Lewis at about age 38.

Sugar Ray Leonard vs Marvin Hagler, what would've happened had they fought in, say, 1987, considering that didn't happen and all.

Pernell Whitaker vs Julio Cesar Chavez, at a catchweight of 142-145, in around 93, who would've won this one?

And let's say Mike Tyson fought Evander Holyfield in the mid 90's, what would happen?

    :huh

I take a 25 year old RJJ to beat a 26 year old Toney by very Unanimous 12 round decision; in fact I reckon judge Stewart has it 119-108; judge Roth 118-109 and judge Hamada 117-110...

    Just a hunch;)

Jones beats Toney everytime. Toney can do nothing against Jones. Inhumane speed always beats a great, mostly defensive technician.

yet pernell whitaker will always beat the speedsters cuz thier is no style that beats him.

Im a whitaker fan but 85% of his opponents were come forward mexican pressure fighters and alot of people on this board make it seem like he would beat boxer punchers or speed demons, when he never fought anyone of that style.

    Wrong.

And Jones would win, its a bad style matchup for Toney.

Roger Mayweather, Oscar De La Hoya(when past his prime above his best weight), Hurtado(past his prime), Buddy McGirt twice, all disprove your theory.

Also Brownpimp, I think what Pontius forgot to mention was that a speedster usually always beats a STATIONARY defensive fighter/counter puncher. Very much unlike Whitaker.
