Calzaghe would absolutely land on Toney. Toney has been beaten by lesser fighters than Calzaghe multiple times. Toney would NEVER land that ridiculoys percentage on Calzaghe dude.

    A committed toney doesn't lose

His precise power shots and insane defense

    Outstanding timing

He just times slappy all day long

but not enough, he lacks the accuracy.

and yet Calzaghe has beaten no fighters of Toneys calibre ever. You need to judge by the highest yardstick if you are comparing prime for prime bests. There is very little point in me using Calzaghe's worst performances as a yardstick, same applies to JT.

he would land for all 12 rounds delivering damage consistently.

Yeah its true. Calzaghe would have actually beaten him. Too much activity. That really works against Toney's skills. These high IQ fighters are best when the fight is slow or at least mid-tempo. It should be a clear win for Joe.

Joe wouldn't see close to 12 rounds...especially when JT started on Joe's tummy.

Look at what Toney did to Vasyli Jirov...

Calzag couldn't take any of that.

Toney would beat the ****ing **** out of calzaghe. Late stoppage for toney.
Calzaghe has no firepower to keep him of him,his workate would be his downfall as well.

Toney went the distance with many of the cabdrivers he faced in the 90s, but Calzaghe couldn't at the very least make it to the cards? :think

yeah don't think toney would stop a rugged Joe, but no way Joe has a formula to beat a prime ATG, because he NEVER EVER had such a forumula once in his career. Remember Joes face at the end of Hopkins how he was half battered? This time Joes face would be fuilly battered.

Theres a possibility Joe would just give up once he finds he cant gass prime toney out, sinc ehes never been in a situation where he cant gass out a superior opponent and he cant this time.

Don't hate this, nuthuggers, I am only going on the facts, Joes resume, if you hate my answer then you are actually hating on Joes resume.

Dave Tiberi and Jirov give the clear indication of why Calzaghe would have beaten Toney - juice or no juice :deal

At which point in Joe Calzaghe's career did he ever "just give up" when against an opponent he couldn't outwork? Can you provide an example? Because if you cant then you are not "going on the facts" you are making **** up.

An in shape, motivated Toney probably stops Calzaghe, terrible stylistic match for Joe, can you imagine how many right hands Calzaghe would eat up. Toney's problems though as ever would be being a fat lazy slob who's training camp becomes no more than a fat camp and he turns up to the fight happy to do the bare minimum in the hope its enough to win.
