Kabary Salem put Joe down pretty good.. I thought Joe was clearly hurt, and did tie up some when he got to his feet..

Imagine if that had been a 168 Jones? or even Toney.. Could have been trouble for Joe.

    Bailey,

Calzaghe had a far better career? :patsch

    You've got to be trolling.

    Joe's best wins:

    Eubank
    Lacy
    Kessler
    Reid
    Hopkins
    Brewer

    Toney's:

    Michael Nunn
    Reggie Johnson
    Mike McCallum
    Iran Barkley
    Tim Littles
    Vassiliy Jirov
    Evander Holyfield

Bailey = The King of spin, who NEVER allows for circumstances.

I can't believe you've just compared Cotto and Eubank, both at 31.

    That's hilarious!

You've got an unhealthy obsession with Joe's win over Eubank.

Let's put our opinions to one side, and state some FACTS.

    Such as:

Chris Eubank was at the end of his career.

He only fought twice more, after he'd fought Joe.

He'd been training to fight Mark Prince, an ORTHODOX fighter, at a HIGHER WEIGHT.

He agreed to fight Joe, on just ELEVEN DAYS notice.

He had to change his diet to make 168.

He had to have an injection in his knee before the fight.

    Those are the facts.

This was not the version of Chris Eubank that had beaten Benn, Watson and Roch.

All things considered, it can't be classed as a great win for Joe.

Lets look at Toneys history at 168

Toney won the IBF super-middleweight title from Iran Barkley (who had just previously lost to a shot former lightweight in Roberto Duran and been TKO'd in a single round by Nigel Benn) and then his next 10 fights whilst champion were against the following opponents :

    - govoner chavers 9-3-1

    - ricky thomas 11-9-1

    - glen thomas 24-1-0

    - danny garcia 25-9-0

    - larry prather 10-10-0

    - tony thornton 35-5-1

    - anthony hembrick 27-4-1

    - tim littles 24-0-0

    - vinson durham 11-6-1

    - charles williams 36-5-2

Toney the Phoney is basically a carefully manufactured steroid riddled disgrace who pulled the wool over a gullable nations eyes via shamless brain-washing strategies from Ring magazine and HBO  :lol::lol::lol::rofl:deal :yep

Man Toney was the typical fighter who underestimated fighters and that would be his Down Fall 46-0 baby 46-0. 46 tried and 46 failed. Toney would of been the same thing. the same thing.
