Toney's comments on Rahman..

I'm encouraged that the article suggested both guys were in good shape.

However, I still remain worried about Toney's thick speech after the Peter II fight. Rahman at least seems not to be punch-drunk, I'm not 100% I can say the same for Toney, and that's worrying.

that was hilarious...atsch toney ain't beating rahman, his best chance was when they first fought. toney has since apparently suffered brain damage as evident in his post fight interview from the Peter 2 fight. even if he beats rahman, that will likely mean that rahman has further deteriorated from his lackluster win over tauras sykes on versus a few months ago. toney is done and must need money to hang on.

Have you seen Rahman lately? He's terrible, Sykes made him look like ****, the same guy that got his head bounced off the ropes on his way down to the canvas by Sam Peter early in there fight a couple years ago.

While Toney may be punch drunk, he still has the skills needed to beat a lethargic, glass jawed joke like Rahman. There last fight was in March of 06 I believe, alot has changed since then.

 

yeah i saw that sykes fight, it was bad. but i aslo saw toney/peter 2 and parts of batchelder/toney. it's a wash, but yeah if toney isn't totally damaged goods and is in any type of shape, i would definitely favor toney. but i think he is and as bad as rahman looked vs sykes i think there's a decent chance rahman barely prepared at all for the fight. imo, with a good camp rahman can get back to some type of form which imo would be enough to beat a damaged toney.
