If some one quick throws the kitchen sink at you when there fresh thier going to land alot. Cardle landed alot but Ritson tucked in blocked alot too as he knew he was fighting a non puncher (fact he was fighting non puncher was key to why he stayed in pocket).

He certainly did mate, didn't respect his power but was reckless. Got Buglioni fight awfully wrong, did not see that coming at all.

But he never moved his head, never! Stiff upright rigid stance. Took too many flush punches. You can say what you like about him not respecting Cardles power but Im not sure he CAN box better defensively. He just seems a very stiff rigid guy. Its just the way hes made I think.

Reminds me of Carl Froch in many ways. I think with his height and way he can cover up with his attack he can go far. Do I think he would win a world title right now ? NO of course not but in 8-10 fights I do. I will make a bold claim I think there is only 1 British Lightweight who would beat him right now, Luke Campbell.

I don't think hardly any of us seen the Johnson one coming to be fair m8 lol. The bookies were split. Johnson has been so inactive and fought alot on small hall shows so even big boxing fans like us haven't seen much of him. He's a big puncher which will always be a problem for Buglioni i suppose as he's so hittable. Stylewise would love to see Johnson v Yarde, be a shoot out.

Gallagher must have about 20 defeats for his fighters in the past year or so.

Last night showed me that I don’t know as much about boxing as I thought I did, haha. Isn’t that what’s brilliant about it though? Johnson was a quality amateur but has then spent his pro career beating plumbers...but then pulls a performance out like that. Love this sport.

On a separate note i think i’m still bladdered from last night :borra2:

You know more than most pal. It was a great night of boxing. The extra competition from other networks is reason, so long may it continue. Hope you had a good night drinking pal and your hangovers not to bad lol

Ah, thanks mate. I feel awful at the minute. I’m absolutely shattered but can’t sleep. Why do we do this to ourselves?
