I agree with people that Golota was not a good indicator of Adamek's suitability at HW. Estrada was a much better barometer, both because of his speed and superior chin at this time. Adamek surpassed these things with his own speed and chin, controlling the fight from start to finish and losing perhaps 3 rounds at most. This was a better perfomance than Povetkin had against Estrada and imo Jason came in better prepared to fight this time. From the standpoint of winning rounds, this was a better performance then Adamek had against Cunningham. People are just dissapointed Adamek could not put JE on the canvas, but it may likely turn out that no one will ever do this, at least in Jason's prime. For me, the only question that remains is whether Adamek's chin is HW worthy because he does tend to get hit a lot and will need his chin to survive. Will Chris Arreola care to answer that question for us in April? Who nex? Who nex?

For Adamek's sake he better hope "whoever nex" is a cruiser becasue I think Arreola would stop him.

Name one thing Arreola does better? Adamek won at least 9 rounds tonight, whereas a guy like Povetkin won fewer. There's been some bull**** spin on the front page how Adamek's face was battered tonight. God Nazi propaganda cant rival this. Please look at the evidence before you comment.

Adamek is a small heavyweight, that's obvious to see. That small frame of his won't last long against the top contenders. He was able to beat Estrada because of his skills, but he takes a clean shot from Arreola it's over. And if Arreola is actually in better shape compared to his previous bouts, I predict Arreola will knockout Adamek. Oh and Adamek does not have HW power.

Adamek was not bullied. Estrada is a much faster puncher than Arroeola or Povetkin and has a vastly better chin than all these 3 fighters. People wanted a KD and didn't get it. They saw another side of Adamek tonight (a volume puncher) and are pissed. This is what Adamek had done throughout his career - he adapts to his opponents weaknesses. Get over it, he won a wide UD. Against Arreola he will come in with a different gameplan. Yes, he will still get hit (his one major weakness that he cannot seem to change) but he will hit just as much and Arreola's chin wont be up to snuff.

Why do people perceive Arreola to be such a badass. Who has he beaten? Jameel McCline? Brian Minto?

Problem is that he wasn't ever tested by what Arreola will land on him. If he pulls it off I will have even a bigger respect for him no matter what happens with Klits (he will lose.)

Of course Adamek must be of been extremely confident going into the fight knowing that Estrada is feather fisted, how would he able to deal with somebody who his harder, just as durable with a good chin, and likes to brawl?

He's an obese former light heavyweight. The power is there, but I don't think he'd be able to KO Estrada either. That boy has a neck. And even if Adamek's power is less than Arreola's, he outclasses Chris in every other boxing attribute imaginable. Adamek is no Minto and can compensate in case Arreola's power is too much.

Newsflash: Arreola's chin is no where near Adamek's.

Estrada's style made it difficult to present a good HW showing.

The dude has that body rolling defense, and he was actually pretty fast. The Adamek game plan wasn't flashy, either... keep your distance, open with body shots and maybe get some head shots. Estrada tried to get close so Adamek had to do a lot of 'running' and countering.

Adamek also did show some stamina issues. He was a LITTLE slower than his cruiser weight days. He's not nearly as agile and bouncy, but for a heavyweight it's pretty impressive. I can't decide if I'm impressed or not. Not sure what to think of the Arreola fight, either.. was it just the game plan or is Adamek easily bullied at heavyweight?

I'm 100% polish, btw. Adamek fan for life. Hopefully he goes all the way!

I agree with this. Estrada rolls those punches nicely. Something Arreola has no clue about doing.

Adamek is definitely a 'real' Hw b/c he can beat lower guys like estrada and 40 year old golota off a major injury. But the Estrada fight doesn't answer the question as to whether he's a legit top 10-15 hw.
