Anyway, like someone else said the other day I was massively put off by one of the clips on the advert saying "how can he sleep at night knowing he almost killed a man?"

I've no problem then telling the story again, and it's fair enough if they tell it from the McClellan side. But comments like that are just completely ignorant and out of order.

Sure it's a good way to hype a program but it pissed me off.

 

I've watched some of the unedited rushes from this. It will be interesting to see what is left in.

 

This ****ed me off as well! Lisa (?) is a complete ***** of a woman who obviously doesnt understand boxing at all. Imagine Nigal Benn saying 'How can G-Man sleep at night knowing he came in completely weight drained desperately looking for an advantage in a fight against a smaller man'

 

If you're in Scotland like me it starts at 11:05pm!

Lisa and Gerald rarely got on, they wasn't even close yet since this has happened she's jumped on any chance to cause controversy and TBH as terrible as it sounds it to blame for her brothers problems she was told take him and you could create more issues for Gerald. Keep him here and he's getting better.

It's a weird attitude to take - it's not like Mclellan was forced into the ring, then had his arms held behind him by Benn's trainer while Benn too shots at him.

No one realised the trouble Mclellan was in until it was too late.

 

She said how can someone sleep at night when they know they nearly killed another man. Well I'm sorry but how does she sleep next to someone who not only made a living out of a sport where this is a risk, but someone who was into dog fighting etc. It's willful ignorance/hypocrisy at its very worse.

If it had been Benn on the receiving end she would be saying how its just part of the sport. I can't believe that she'd be filing for divorce and throwing the insults at her husband anyway. Hypocrites, ****ing infuriating small minded morons.

 

Looking forward to this just baffled why this is on a Monday evening at 10:35pm ITV you inconsiderate *******s I won't be at home at that time those *******s are lucky I can afford SKY+.

 

I'll give it a go, but if they start to make Benn look a **** i'll knock it off.
G-man's sister is a dispicable woman, i mean what does she want Benn to do? Crucify himself every single day. Both men were in the same boat.
ITV are shite so i won't hold my breath on the quality of the programme.

I heard Benn is having money problems. Anyone know if this is true? I hope not.

 

What are itv planning with this? Is it a feeler to see what sort of numbers they get from us boxing fans? There probly jealous of channel 5 and fury and possibly want in?

 

It was made by Kevin Lueshing who is Nigel Benn's agent and friend so I would be very surprised if it paints him in a bad light.

Lueshing is also auctioning McClellan's WBC belt to help him out financially.

I would imagine that it is very well balanced documentary.
