I changed the article too - although both are there and say the same thing basically. But I found another one too, which was more specifically about brain damage.

Thats the point i was making. the 'context of the blinking. you are of course right in saying someone who blinks a lot doesnt have brain damage. ITs the context of the blinking the Doc told me about.

    Again, context, warning sign.

Again, context. Athlete being smashed about the head, whilst also weight drained.

Ok, so you are agreeing thers a body of evidence that supports the theory the Doc told me about. This is what this whole debate began over. You said its got nothing to do with it and I said I have been told it can? Well whats the problem then?

This guy (obviously he wouldnt want me to toss his name about) is an experienced man, well regarded, I took his opinion to hold some weight and value, certainly more than non medical people like ourselves. Its like being offered an opinion on cancer from a Doc, whats the sense in turning round and refuting my point by saying all you can say is what this Doc says. Round and round we would go.

    True

As for the last part, apologies, it was out of order

Straw man argument? What's my straw man? Do you even know what a straw man argument is?

My point is debatable, sure. Of course I can't say for sure how she would have felt, it's just an impression I get from her and (G-mans) general behaviour.

  6. Is it this?

    :huh

Given her an opinion? Can you even read?

Aside from the fact that it is documented that McClellan wanted to kill Benn, and his sister after the fight said she wanted him dead I did point out that I was just guessing. Based on circumstance and personality, mainly.

It can't be a strawman argument when the whole situation (i.e. Benn losing) is hypothetical.

Cant be bothered to address the full argument but i would say McClellan looked like he had a tic more than was blinking - a blink takes about a millisecond whereas a tic will last a bit longer. Considering it looked like he was doing it before the fight he may have had some problems that brought it out under pressure or tension.

Why has no one mentioned the blatant diving headbut from Benn which is what started it all off? He never blinked before it only afterwards. Plus, the very slow 10 count from the first knockdown shows the ref at fault. If the ref did his job properly McClellan wins via 1st round KO.
