Unbelievable. I watched it again a few months back.
Just a shame that what happened over-shadowed Benn's best win.

I'm glad I didnt buy a 2nd row seat behind Frank Bruno and Don King, they've hardly sat down in 3 rounds!

I know McClellans family will infuriate me so I'm not bothering.

  8. Looking forward to this, do you reckon it would have been in bad taste of they showed the whole fight after the program. Reckon it would do canny numbers audience wise

Jim Watt must cringe at his commentary, saying how McClellan lacks heart for 'quitting'and was making a meal of the clash of heads in round 9 when he took a knee, I know hindsight is wonderful but the guy had collapsed in the ring and Watt is saying, its just exhaustion, dehydration!!

You would but its just harsh in the heat of the moment the battle was won and it was a case of at the time who was going to "out tough" who and it looked like Benn had out toughed Mclellan with the way he capitualted it wasnt a clean knockdown or knockout.

It was kinda similar to Cotto Marg 1 just too much punishment. Nobody was to know he was suffering from a blood clot at the time.

Really looking forward to this, I just hope it isn't biased in any ones favour. It needs to have a fair assessment of both fighters and the aftermath they both went through.

Kind of unfair to try pass blame to referee

Fact remains that nigel didnt do this to him directly, he was blinking uncontrollably before hand, and would have happened later down the line whether in sparring or a different fight, showed symptoms that were not right.

How many other fighters have showed symptoms like this and become damaged?
