HBO's latest 24/7 series which has all been boxing based thus far changed up and did/is doing a 24/7 on Daytona 500. Its focused on Jimmie Johnson. If One HD can show this 24/7 hopefully they can show more 24/7's in the future. I do doubt it because if they arent showing the fight on ONE HD why show the 24/7 i guess, but would be nice to think they would. Does anyone on here have ANY updates about boxing on One HD or is it still pretty much dead?
i missed out on johnny lewis' boxing classics because they have moved it to a 7.30 time slot. anybody know who they featured tonight?
Rang the station approx Oct/Nov last year and they said it wasn't in their planning for the remiander of 2009, and at that stage they had no firm plans for 2010 either. ...and all reports were that the ratings had been good for the live cards too! ...either something or someone f_ed up big-time? ...or buying pre-recorded fights is just so much cheaper and easier for them it just aint worth doing the live stuff?
Yeah, spoke to soemone involved this morning and he said he hasn't heard anything from them yet. With schedules being planned months in advance it doesn't look good. Yeah CHB, pre recorded stuff would be much cheaper.
Hate to say it, but Johnny Lewis is just terrible in front of the camera. Can't the guy show just a little bit of enthusiasm when he talks?? You get more energy from his speeches between rounds on fight night, and that's saying something.
If there going to show pre-recorded fights (no problems with), can they at least make them top-quality! For ****s sake, some of the fights they have highlighted have been sleep motivators!!!
its good to see they will be showing FREE TO AIR UFC 110 live from HOMEBUSH. This is pretty damn good..
