Tonight we have seen 2 things...

Tonight we saw one thing, one of the best UFC show ever. Its hard to top thsi one tonight and Ive been watching since UFC 1.

 

You think this would've been obvious, don't you? Some drama queens will whine no matter what.

 

Agreed this was a barnbuster. All the fights were top drawer but Dana White is still a prck regardless!

So if I KO'd Whoopi Goldberg 12 times does that make me a good striker.

Carwin has never KO'd a GOOD STRIKER. He has good power but is NOT a good striker.

MMA fans are getting dumber and dumber by the day. They really need to go to a boxing/MT gym and learn a thing or two about striking.

Saying Carwin has good striking is comical.

 

Lucky Dana Every ****in fight! Top notch! Lyttle just became my favorite fighter.

 

Carwin wasn't koing all pusses, come on. You gotta be pretty dumb yourself dude. Nobody's saying Carwin has good technique; he doesn't need to to be considered a great striker in the UFC because he generates enough power on his own to finish guys easily. His technique is mediocre, sure, but his power is great and does the job better than 99% of fighters in the UFC.

 

Thats all we where saying, he is NOT a great striker but has great power. There is a difference.

 

Having good power doesnt make you a good striker. And he didnt KO any legitimate or even average strikers. He KO'd grapplers in Gonzaga and Mir, both of whom are not good on their feet.

Its not rocket science man. Carwin is not hard to hit, lacks handspeed and is far from being a technician on the feet. The only thing he has going for him is GOOD power. Thats it. And that doesnt make you a good striker.

 

Didn't he just pass one? Or did they give him a 1 time pass and NOT test him last time? I bet they just forgot to test him huh?

Correct me if im wrong, but before tonight he stopped every opponent in the first, but they were not all KOs. Some were submissions. But nonetheless 12 first round wins is pretty cool

 

In my book anyone that can seriously KO guys and has a proven track record of doing it often is a great striker regardless of technique. Roy jones technique was pretty bad too but he was so fast and had power that you have to consider the guy a great overall puncher due to those facts.

 

I smoke crack and i feel good right now.......Carwin is an average striker.
