Tonight's Card really has a competitive feel to it, if you put 8 of the 9 (excluding Morgan Jones) home fighters in a multiple you get odds of roughly 2/5. For as much as their are "names" on the card it could be an entirely dull evening.
I think this card is pretty good tbh. Yes odds are not great but that is because of reputations rather than competitiveness. Cordina and Kelly are both stepping up a level and you also have Burnett as another World Title fight. Buatsi is always entertaining and fighting someone with 20 wins on his record. Add Crolla which is just a warm up fight for bigger things in the summer then I think it's a worthy PPV card. My only disappointment is Povetkin Price which is a good undercard fight but should not be main support as this will be over in 1 or 2 rounds. People can't really complain about this card and should be a good night of boxing.
This is an Anthony Joshua PPV event with a David Price pumping and a pile of nextcan fights thrown in to pass the time. Eh Day should really take 50p off the PPV charges and just show us the Price and Joshua fights.
I was actually gonna pay for this tonight, though I was getting the house to myself and was looking forward to sitting watching a night of boxing. But the undercard really is a waste of time with all gimmes. Now going to the pub.
They're all mismatches except for the main event which possibly is a mismatch after all if you go by Parker's previous fights. Josh Kelly's opponent Molina hasn't been relevant since he fought K-9 Bundrage years ago. He's shot to pieces and not really a tough fight for Josh Kelly. Molina lost his last two fights against a prospect and a tomato can. When Carlos Molina was a player in the junior middleweight division years ago he fought like an octopus. An ugly, awkward style to watch.
Having seen the feather fisted undie card in action. I think 50p off the PPV price is a bit excessive - 10p off for all this trash pre Povetkin and Joshua fights.
