Woods vs Tarver starts at 2.30 on setanta.

 

Have setanta got the build up fights? What about the Dawson one, I have heard no mention of it at all on the channel.

 

The two cards are in Florida and NJ so the fights should be on earlier than Vegas fights due to the time difference.

 

The setanta website states they will show the Dawson vs Johnson fight and with the programme starting at 2am I'm pretty sure they will show it. I don't know if they will show the Danny Williams fight though. I hope they do as it will probably be a quick fight.

 

Anyone know when the Radio 5 live coverage of the Woods fight starts?
Its just guys talking **** on it just now, & they are boring me to tears.

 

I'd have thought you'd have Setanta Dunky with the SPL and Rangers/ Celtic channels being on there?

 

Well Gaz, I would have. I even forked out 60 on a new freeview box that had a card slot, & was ready to subscribe. But Im more of a boxing fan than a football fan, & when I found out with freeview setanta you dont get to see their big american cards cos the channel shuts down at 3am I decided not to bother.
& add to that that I dont really care for Celtic & rangers, without the boxing Setanta seemed less appealing all of a sudden.

I usually go round to my pals house to watch all the boxing, but when its on at this ungodly I just ask him to record it for me & he doesnt tell me the result & I get the tape & watch the next day. However, I like listening to the boxing on the radio, & when a fights on 5 live I cant help but tune in
I used to enjoy going round, but at the weekend its pretty dodgy walking home yourself at the weekend nowadays in the wee small hours where I live, gangs of ****in drink fuelled neds everywhere. So I prefer the safe option now!

So Im sitting right now with a wee glass of Rich cream wine, & my robe & slippers on, still waiting for the boxing to start...

Setanta have changed that Freeview 3am problem mate, you can watch the USA cards on Freeview now. I know what you mean about the radio though, it reminds me of my Dad getting me up at 4am on a school morning to listen to Hagler-Hearns, theres just something magical about it.

Its one of those big bathrobes that are well comfy, my missus loved the Sopranos & said she was going to get me one of the robes that Tony wore in the programme Dont worry she doesnt think Im like Tony Soprano or something, she just seen the funny side of buying me one of those big robes! I must admit though, there are moments I look at the mirror & think to myself "Tony Soprano eat your heart out" & do a rubbish Sopranos impression.
Yup, I really should get out more. I know.
