Tonight's card looks to be a *******. I'm making the trip. Here's some interview's for those interested. This content is protected Weigh in pics are on This content is protected . Briggsy looks in great shape :thumbsup
Should be a great night. Ranee Ganoy KO in about 7 rounds. Nathan Briggs has trained very hard so i expect him to win. Tho i would really like Leapai to win in an upset.
Everyone is probably thinking that Briggs and Ganoy are just about sure things but I think they are both going to be in a serious tussle, thats why I think it will be such a great night.
I reckon it will be to :good I just hope I can find a nice quiet spot to sit and do my work without any interuptions :thumbsup
Good Luck Melissa we hope it all goes well for you tonight, you have been doing a great job so far, you have soldiered through alot of put me downs from a very male dominating industry. We hope for a great night of boxing entertainment for all your determination and hard "unpaid" work. Thanks guys for all your support over the last 6 months I couldn't have done it without you :good
Ranee Ganoy Ko'd Nakbalee much earlier than we all thought. Only took 2 rounds.:happy I wonder what Ganoy has planned next. He will surely move further up the IBF's world rankings. Hopefully a title eliminator can occur in 2008. Alex Leapai caused an upset that didnt surprise me too much against Nathan Briggs, as he does contain some awesome punching power. Nice KO in 8 tough rounds. Maybe a fight with veteran Bob Mirovic or undefeated prospect Solomon Haumono is in his future. Also good to see Tyrone Tongia win again & too bad for ESB's own Trent Wehrman (Boxa01) who fought to a draw. All the best Trent & keep on going bud. :good In other cards around the country Ryan Waters & Steven Wills both got up off the canvas to post stoppage wins at Cronulla. Steven Wills's fight on the Danny Green undercard may be in doubt as he was knocked down & may require to sit out the 28 day rest period. Pat Kennedy lost his NSW Heavyweight Title also in a mild upset to undefeated Michael Kirby. Lastly undefeated prospect Davey Browne moved to 10-0 with a tough unanimous decision against a tough Philpino import in another small card in Sydney.
thanks kegsy i have watched it a few times and really think if anything i only lost the 3rd... im happy with how it went considering im really a jr lightweight. steve just kept comin at me i never really got a chance to get settled and box i will defintly be back thanks mate
kegsy, great job with results and reports, appreciated, well done alex, i know first hand he is a tough sob. pay kennedy lost to kirby!!! wow i thought kennedy would win easy
Yeah i was bit shocked that Kirby caused the upset too Mark. Tho Kennedy has got away with a couple close decisions in his recent fights, so maybe this was due to happen. Good to see a new name near the top of Aussie Heavyweight Boxing rankings now with Alex Leapai. All the best to the guy.
