overall a fantastic card. Lemme say Ed Paredes had the fire in his eyes and avenged his bs draw vs joey Hernandez by hitting him with a counter left that left the whole arena in awe. he came in confident and won convincingly in fashion. Rigondeaux looked excellenet as usual ans romped to a quick voctory. I was very suprised how confident and stable Glen Johnson was while Mack threw everything he had at him. Johnson prevailed and later signed autographs for anyone in the fans which I thought was very nice. My b oy Dorian Beaupierre lost to Yudel Jhonson but it was a premature stoppage. Chances are Beaupierre wouldnt have been able to come back and I give Jhonson much bprops for disposing Beaupierre so easily in his fifthe professional Fight. Overall a fantasitc card. i cannot complain I had a great time and tehre were so many empty seats that we(me and my boy and his girl) were able to get rael close and talk to Joe Tessitore and Teddy Atlas. Much props on a fantastic card. Anyone else go? BTW I think Glen Johnson has one last tough run in him. we shall see. he didnt look 41 tonight.

Awesome. It's always good to get firsthand accounts.

I think Johnson's (slowly) getting better on the headset, too; ESPN will always have a place for him.

haha yea Johnson is always polite and straight forward. I am glad he won. Mack was very honest and did not bull**** in defeat. He said he trained very hard for the fight but Johnson was the better man. I know Mac k has been thru a lot as of late and wish him nothing but the best

Honestly man not so expensive. Up top they were ten bucks but u could see everything very smoothly. I was down below and they were 35 dollars(US) and I was sitting next to Teddy atlas and Tessitore. I was there when tessitore got that award for boxing comentator of the year. pretty fair. the sad thing was the areana was nowhere close to being sold out.

yeeesh man thats expensive. the thing with Nova Southeastern is that they do not have a sports complex so they put the fights in the schools gym which was great because like i said for ten dollars u could see everything. it was very fair priced. for 35 dollars u were eight next to the action. we were sitting next to Gamboa.

Where did you watch the FNF card?

    NYC?

    FLA?

We have no FNF in the Philippines.

you're right, Glen did not look 41 at all. To me, personally, he looked like a spry 39 year old. He's the best.

Steamin' Beeman got a title shot?!?
That boy sure knows how to beat a theme to death, resurrect it, then beat it down again... at least you only had to watch him for 6 rounds.

It was just odd the way things were situated. the main event wasnt Glen Johnson or even Rigondeaux it was the Paredes Hernandez fight. bpth were local guys so that makes sense but even so they had everything sequenced very oddly. the rigondeaux fight was first, then the johnson fight then the main event then two more bouts(the yudel Jhonson fight was second to last)

The flow was pretty nice, on TV anyway. Usually after the "big fight" there's just talking heads, or maybe a walkout bout between debutants if the main event ended very early.

Here, after the thrill of Johnson vs. Mack, it was like "Bonus round! :p"

Was that not the same vibe live?

yeah when rigondeaux and johnson came out early alotta people left thinking it was over and that was just the beginning. it was a dope vibe because the fights just kept coming and coming
