Wicked night of fights...1 of the best FOX cards in years.

Ganoy started slow in the 1st but battered the thai into the stoppage with a nice left hook in the 2nd.

Dom Vea started well against Anthony McCracken i had McCraken up 78-74 after 8.
How stupid is Vea's team & management.
Comes into a fight with a broken nose & possibly patched cuts on his face too from sparring Danny Green.
He had a Commonwealth Title Fight on the horizon....poor poor management....they should be shot!!!!
Vea did all he could with the massive bleeding he was suffering especially last couple rounds.
Terrific fight tho 1 of the best u will ever see on a local live FOX card & major congrats to McCracken.

Dib started a little slow but in the end got the job done with the 6th round stoppage.
I think the cut on the top of Filo Belandres's head after the 5th played with his mind...still tho props for Dib for closing the show.
Had it 49-45 at the stoppage for Dib.
Against someone more competitive & when the going gets tough...we will see if Dib's has matured.

Bolling looked sensational. He has been well matched by his team thus far. Ryan Waters & Pat Kennedy have looked after him well on their shows for the majority of his fights from Cronulla Leagues & he is now prime to take on all comers in Australia.
I had Bolling up 69-64 at the time of the stoppage in the 8th.
Oganov just kept lunging in & Bolling was picking him off at will from his southpaw stance.
Definitely 1 of our top prospects going around now...i called it last yr in my prospect thread :yep

Main Event well what can i say.
I had Pittman winning 59-55 going into the 7th round & well all those headclashes & awkward coming togethers paid off for Kwadjo the Ghanain native.
Pittman was lunging in & got caught with some decent uppercuts & he couldnt handle the pressure.
    Crowd was in absolute shock.
Well done to Kwadjo & his team from Fiji.

Great night of fights on FOX & props must go out to Grange Old Skool Boxing.
These are the sort of cards where u will make new fans.:deal

I have no idea what Vea's team were thinking. Absolutely bizarre to say the least. A third match with McCracken is a must, and over 12 rounds.

True true it would be much better on OneHD.

Still tho i would rather less cards with more quality then some of the shockers we get from time to time.
    A good night never hurts:yep

Ouch....that would have hurt hearing the bell just after the 3rd knockdown.

Watched the Pittman V Kwadjo fight and it was a messy head butting slug fest.
Pittman sharpened up in the 5th onwards but copped several head butts flush on the face.
Pittman looked really good when he stood back and measured Kwadjo. I got the impression Kwadjo was gassing out from the 5th thereon.
The 3 puches to take out the fight were crisp but not what you'd call fight ending....maybe the last one....Pittman was well rocked.

How weird was it that Pittman was back on his feet almost instantly after the first 2 knockdowns and was slamming his fist disgusted with himself after the 3rd....he looked fine....all 3 were kinda flash knockdowns.

Great fight from Kwadjo.....party time in Suva...lol..

Yeah I agree with that, with the way boxing is here at the moment we really need to be going for quality on tv rather then just putting **** cards on for the sake of televising a card. Still, there's been two cards on so far this year and the other one was as bad as any card I've seen on fox sports.

One of lifes little mysteries is how Pittman ever managed to go 6 I/2 rounds with Felix Sturm. Like Billy Dib , Pittman is very overated. Hard to find anything positive to say about this pair.

Bolling was impressive, tough, fit and a good technique. If the Aussie contender SM series was starting next week Bolling would be the red hot favourite.

    G'day all,

Thanks to everyone from Team BTK for both the support and positive/negative feedback about last night's card. Great to see good discussion on the ESB Aussie Forum about such a great card put on Grange Old School Boxing.

Steve Casserely (pre-TV coverage) was impressive. Ganoy again impressive. Vea and McCracken was a big, tough, gutsy fight (felt sorry for Vea with the prep he had), Dib was impressive and finished superbly what was a bloody 'awkward' and to be frank, 'nuisance' style fighter and Bolling was strong and impressive against Vic who to be fair is probably seeing better days gone.

Jamie Pittman- just not his night and I'm sure will look at his fight and come back better for it.

The Grange had really put on a great show, had 'live' entertainment - 'The NEXT' performing at the venue in conjunction with SONY Music to bring a whole new level of entertainment experience to the in-venue patrons, complimented by the afore mentioned great fights so a great night by all. :good
