You'd rather he wasnt fighting at all after the apparent brain bleed suffered against katsidis....but i think amonsot is a chance of catching egberime early and ending the fight. If he hasnt got him out by 4 rds, the tide probably turns in egberime's favor as amonsots lack of activity might hamper him. The other thing...i remember egberime struggling with filo southpaw junmar dulogs style, he didnt seem comfortable against a lefty. Amonsot is a lefty with some pop...good match up. Amonsot is favourite with fightbet, surprised me a little. So i guess a win isnt exactly an upset
I would consider a Amonsot win a mild upset....either way this matchup could turn out in a variety of ways IMO. Tough one to call tho i would lean to Egberime.
I think amonsot beat some tiny kid from thailand at his first fight in forever. Might be wrong i havent looked. But egberime was lost against junmar mate...that was a while ago admittedly. Amonsot has been sparring vic too...not the best prep for a fight at welter. I just think he might be able to catch egberime early. If not...it swings to egberime.
