Jemal James vs Thomas Dulhorme David Morrell vs Lennox Allen David Morrell looks like an excellent prospect at Super Middle. Fighting for the interim WBA in his 3rd fight.
It's strange how American promoters are happy to have zero coverage in the UK. Top rank cards with UK fighters are on bt but apart from that nothing. You would have thought even given them free to someone like Freesports would help make their fighters grow a profile.
It takes a real superstar to break the UK market. We are still a country that only support our own in boxing
Have to say Morell was impressive. To say thats his 3rd fight against a tough durable and game opponent he did very well. Still a work in progress, his defence was a bit leaky, but if he can learn at this level he is going to be one hell of a talent in a few years.
Boxnation had the first few PBC cards of the year via their deal with Premier Sports. There was talk of a long term deal, pre pandemic, that hasnt come to anything yet. Could also be DAZN has got PBC for the UK.
Top Rank cards with UK fighters are on BT but TR shows are on the FITE TV app for £5 a month and at the moment most months havent got anything. The PBC cards are popping up on FITE TV as PPV which is ridiculous really. DAZN fights will be on the DAZN app going forwards for the days of wall to wall overseas fights are gone, reduced to pretty much nothing. At one point Boxnation was showing Serie A. We didnt know how lucky we were !
Are you the Blue Collar Sports dellboi? I'm assuming you are. If that's the case, go ahead and post links to your Youtube videos over here. Including the one you did on Morrell in this thread. As long as it's not overt and you're not going out of your way to promote it, it's fine.
The issue with these cards for the terrestrial channels is they would have to employ a team to comply with advertising regulations (far more breaks taken in the US). For the amount of people watching it’s deemed unviable now. BT/Sky should be plucking them up though or at very worst they should be shown on YouTube in territories where the rights are unsold.
