bit random, but does anyone know the name of the song at the end of prizefighter? only lyrics i can remember is "i'm on my way" - but type that into google and all you're getting is the bloody proclaimers, ha
I didn't watch it, I was busy washing my hair or was I watering my plants? Anyway I couldn't tell you if it was good or not or who the fighters were, as I point blank refuse to watch it. If I want to watch a pile of **** I will go into the garden, pick up a cat turd and stick it on a plate, I will then get rid of my TV and put the plate of **** on the unit, I will then print off a picture of King Edward, frame it and put it on the unit also, then light some candles and waalaa, a fitting tribute to Eddie and his Prizefighter. Repeat that every month when each Prizefighter is on, which give it a year, it will be every month.
As a man I find him very likeable, but everything he does in any sport caters to utter ******s. I understand it makes money but he loses respect of serious fans of all the sports he shows.
Sadly though "serious fans" don't bring in viewing figures like "utter ******s" do. Prizefighters serve a purpose and sky obviously like them. Am I big fan? No, but I understand why they're in the schedule. After the last one there are three fighters in Foot Evans and Gaynor who will now get better fights and will hopefully kick on and also let's not forget the career high payday some will have got for this.
Don't get me wrong, I will watch Prizefighter just in case there are decent scraps like there were last time. The other sports he's made in to almost jokes are what grind against me badly. Snooker for example.. A 1 frame match with people jeering the players etc. Didn't like that.
I do like Eddie, but that don't give him a free pass or immunity from criticism , Prizefighter is ****, pointless and daft, I would rather bang Jo Brand than sit through an evening of that crap.
