    After Hopkins' buddy Earl Morton was asked to leave the ref assignment, they gave the camps a list of 3 guys.

    Esteves
    Randy Neumann
    Steve Smoger

    Esteves got the nod.

    So here we go. Everyone is happy & its FIGHTNIGHT!!!:happy

    Good this makes the fight better.

    Smoger has been the ref for a few Pavlik fights and he is the perfect man for the job. But tonight I have no problem with Esteves!

    as long as he stops bernard clinching to much and lets the fight flow he will be alright whover he is.

    it is the jobs of refs to make boxing as much a spectacle as they can while being fair to both fighters.
