We all know about the headliners, but there are a ton of other fights going on this weekend. Some big names and interesting matchups are on the docket. How do you think they will go? Are you looking forward to a one or two for any particular reason?

    In Las Vegas
    Mikey Garcia vs. Jonathan Barros
    Jesse Magdaleno vs. Jose Silverio

    In Los Angeles
Leo Santa Cruz vs. Victor Zaleta
    Nathan Cleverly vs. Shawn Hawk
    Alfredo Angulo vs. Raul Casarez
    Antonio Orozco vs. Danny Escobar

Anybody notice that Humberto Soto is fighting in Mexico? He's taking on Jose Lopez in a scheduled 12 rounder.

Also, Thomas Oosthuizen is taking on Fulgencio Zuniga in what should be a solid fight.

Wait so the whole "Visa" issue with Angulo is over?

It was taken care of over the summer. He's fighting in Staples this weekend.

That was a debacle all the way around. First, there's no excuse for him to not have used the lawyers at his promoter to get a green card. Then, we spent tons of tax dollars keeping him locked up instead of letting him pay a fine and go back to producing tax dollars.
