Ayala quits after getting outboxed and the WBC cards announce him seriously down after 8rounds

Mayweather would win this. Ayala just didn't have the experience to deal with Mayweather.

Tony would love this: an easy payday against a big favorite

    Reminds me of Norris-SRL

If Floyd can last longer than Robbie Epps, that would be a victory in itself.

PBF has never tasted power like this.

    pathetic man

while Floyd looked relatively poor at 154, he still had more than enough to beat the completely un-tested Ayala

Hey Flea i suggest you go back and watch some Ayala footage, he was much better than Angulo. In probably every category, especially with the combos and in the speed department.

    Start with the Epps fight

    You esbers :nut

"un-tested" doesnt mean a top ranked jr middle coming out of Lou Duva's stable.

You could make that case when Hamsho exposed Czyz. Then again, you could make the same case when 3 time champion Benitez got the same treatment. It all depends on who you go up against and you just admitted Floyd looked relatively poor

Besides, that argument got old the night Foreman smoked Frazier.

Go out and get yourself some boxing knowledge you pasty faced "purist"

and I seen your man Buchanan in action-he sucks. One beating for him in a championship fight and he went back to being an 8 rounder

I've watched the Epps fight, amongst others. He's the most overrated fighter on ESB I've had to put upeith his nuthuggers for too long now

Well he wasnt around long enough to test himself against the elite, but I cant see how anyone who has seen him fight not say that he wasnt one dangerous fighter who might have achieved greatness. Back then you were in the minority if you didnt think he was the next great one. It was the consensus that he was the much better prospect than Czyz who was also hyped up as well as Alex Ramos.

More young fans who doubt his talent now than the ones who remember him.

I don't don't see much to suggest he'd beat any 'elite' fighters

That's a good point. Back in those days, before he was born, comments what you hear from Fleaman and thesham would bring ridicule upon themselves. It was simply unheard of.

Nowadays you could safely say such things and it wont matter. But seeing these comments makes me shake my head. People from that side of the planet look at the sport as if it's strictly a sort of fencing contest

No. Just that Ayala was not a particularly quality offensive fighter. From the footage I've seen, and no amateur stats or **** charges will change my mind in the matter
