Can't agree with you there. I don't see the relatively inexperienced Ayala forcing floyd into a brawl if Floyd doesn't want to get involved in one. I agree with you that Floyd isn't as strong but boxing isn't just about strength. As for the weight Floyd would be looking for mobility and I see him coming in about 147-150. The weight isn't issue.

You only need so much experience to hurt a guy and Tony is a like a human pitbull-he'll never let go until his man is down for good. Tony will get hit but so will Floyd. PBF is too be taking on the likes of Tony. I'm really surprised at the esbers here. I thought they were capable of more that just follow the leader.

People here at ESB mistakenly think Floyd can just shrug off the effects of getting hit and what's funny is they keep making the same mistake. They think of this like Jones and Ruiz, or maybe Tony Baltazar looking for that one shot.

between Tony and Norris that would be a great match. Tony is a bag of muscle. people mistake for fat but is really muscle which accounts for his freakish power. Better than Tyson? I think so. I also believe he would get to Norris and put him away

That's right. it's a contest between skill and power but you know Tony is going to fight his fight. It's not like PBF is going to be given a chance to set his own pace and leisurely box him as he did your common opponent

Someone here actually compared him with Ibeabuchi. How could anyone be so stupid???

Well, that's esb for you where shots to the head bounce harmlessly off the more skilled boxer.

If we're nice about it, they might even allow for Tony to have him in a bit of trouble before Floyd sweeps the last three rounds

:good I totally agree with you it pisses me off when newbie fans want to talk **** about Ayalas competition when they dont even know anything about them. Robbie Epps was considered a good fighter and beating Dwight Davison was a helluva accomplishment. For Ayala to blow him out was a good win.
He also smoked Carlos Herrera in 3 who was a legit top contender who fought Hope to razor close 15 round decision in England!!
For having only 20 fights Ayalas competition was wasnt bad,the competition many talk **** about either beat or gave tough fights to other good fighters.. Ayala smoked them!

Okay i can see arguments made for either fighter winning this one.

But Floyd by KO:patsch:patsch My god that would never happen, that is true Ayala haterism or just plain "I dont know **** about boxing"

Nah, Floyd wouldn't stop him. He's too cautious for that.

IF he didnt fight cautious id bet the ranch on Ayala. He wouldnt be able to hurt Torito.
His only chance would be to stay on his bike and fight a passive fight even then i wouldnt count Ayala out. Floyd would definitly have to stay off the ropes at all cost.

I'm familiar with Ayala's competition and for me the Carlos Herrera fight sticks out as a great win. I saw the fight with Maurice Hope and he looked a tough fighter in that one.
I think we should keep this civilized, surely the Pro Ayala side can see the argument put forward by the pro Mayweather side. Ayala is being judged here on having a hyperthetical career. Floyd has had a real career and much as I don't like him he has fought all styles of fighter at the highest level. He's a stylistic nightmare for anybody specially the way he fights now at this stage of his career.
I'll be honest and say that I think John Mugabi looked more devastating against better fighters and more of them pre Hagler on his way up than Ayala did.
I'm sure Floyd would box in this fight but I wouldn't underestimate his punching power if he started sitting down on his shots which come in fast and accurately against the offensive minded Ayala.
Before anyone starts slagging off Mugabi just think back to the hype surrounding him pre Hagler. A light middle who was blowing away full middleweights, even the fact that he was a light middle considered good enough to fight Hagler speaks for itself.

He didn't. It was Robbie Epps that beat him.

I think you misunderstood what i was trying to say. Epps beat is the one who was coming off a win over Davison.
