Yes I did. Doesn't seem to be any sign of it anywhere. Funny thing is I mentioned it to my dad the other day and he said "Let's hope it ****ing stays like that".
It must be out there somewhere cos it was shown in the States, Mexico, Australia and Britain. There is film of Raul Cruz - Chucho Castillo 2 on youtube which was the chief support. I spoke to the lad who posted he's Cruz's son. He doesn't even know where his copy came from. He's looking for his dad's fight with Lionel Rose if anone knows the whereabouts of that one.

I'm curious to see it myself, don't know how I'll feel watchin it though. Sometimes it can bring a lump to my throat watching him, specially when he's on the receiving end.

 

A few years back when i worked in Downtown LA i used to talk boxing with the Shuttle driver and come to find out he fought Raul Cruz a couple times his name was Joe Medrano. Talked to him for at least a year before i knew he was a fighter.

 

I can see where you're coming from. But with your knowledge of his opponents and the fact he's still with you in good health, I can imagine the main feeling being that of immense pride.

 

Have a look at Cruz's record, he fought about 10 world champs and beat some. He must of had a brave manager.

Yes Medrano told me that Raul Cruz was much better than his record, and that at his best was truly a world class fighter. Then again Joe told me he thought he could have got the decision. Joe Medrano started out as a prospect then fringe contender but ended up becoming a steppingstone/journeyman type.

 

Yey Sibson beat him after Epps did i think thats the fight that made Sibson a contender(or was it Don Lee) anyways, Davison had alot more fights but never a top contender again.
