    Pretty good fight here.

Might go against the grain and take Mayorga. tko late.

I think he weathers the storms and just won't go away. One of those guys in one of those kinds of fights. And the Ayala parachute opens when he's tired and he's the guy taking the big punches. a fan's fight for sure and I wonder if Duva would be willing to have his guy face Mayorga in a rematch if he did win.

This would be an old fashioned kind of street fight of our childhood, both like to fight. I see Ricardo Mayorga scoring a knockdown early, winning the fight. But then Tony Ayala comes back with brutal body blows and takes out Mayorga in round 5. This is a good thread.

Ayala was the more talented guy. But then again, Forest was more talented than Mayorga as well and it didn't matter. Mayorga lands that looping right hand at somepoint and has no ****s to give about anything coming back at him from Ayala. Ricardo by late KO.

Kind of match up where it's a shame there can only be one loser. Really not keen on either of these two.

Ayala tends to get the Ibeabuchi treatment and is heralded as a terror without ever having proved it at the very highest level; a reputation that grows from being unbeaten before it all went tits up. Perhaps if our own Frank Bruno had been banged up before he fought Bonecrusher Smith he would, today, be winning fantasy H2Hs against the likes of Louis, Dempsey, Frazier, Marciano (well, maybe not on this forum).

I'll go Mayorga as well but with no real conviction. Although he went further than Ayala, he tended to lose his big fights. I think he would probably be remembered, if at all, for being an entertaining, TV friendly slugger - much in the mold of a Frankie Fletcher - if the overriding memory weren't of him being such a ginormous *****.

I'll actually go against the grain of predictions here. Tony very likely would have never dealt with greats like Leonard, Hearns, Duran, and Benitez, but I think he'd beat the Hell outta a guy as limited as Mayorga.

Mayorga would probably pin Ayala face first agains the turnbuckle and pretend to **** him. It would be great.
