The guy is a idiot, he thinks he is a world class boxer...any time he fights someone decent he gets beat.

Fair enough hyping up a fight but being a constant clown in every interview is tiring

Not forgetting he tried to headbutt Chilemba at the end of the first round when they fought.

    Clearly has anger issues.

Not defending Bellew by any stretch... not a big fan of his nor a hater and hope Clev puts it on him in the rematch....but some of you lot are act like a right bunch of fairies when reacting to his comments.

He made a few comments after being pumped up just after leaving the ring, big deal. Fighters talk up fights, we can name many who have said 10 x worse (and no I'm not comparing Bellew's talent to these guys either.....)- Mike Tyson, Mayorga, Ali, Naz, Hopkins, Toney,... Nigel Benn who is universally loved throughout Britain has said far worse. Yet I can guarantee you that your a fan of at least one of those guys.

Tyson Fury says a lot of **** and has so far walked the walk of what's asked of him so far in his career. Bellew hasn't said near on half of what Fury has but has challenged for world title honours.

It's boxing, **** happens and **** gets said... a lot of it is bollocks to generate interest in a fight and make more ££££. Look at the first fight between Clev and Bellew, they were holding each others arms aloft.

The only thing I will say about Bellew is... if he's going to talk a big game then he's got to deliver. He's talked and walked it a few times, but he's also been found wanting as well. So hopefully we get fireworks come fight night.

I think he'll KO clev in the rematch. Frustrating though as when he's a pundit you can tell he genuinely loves the sport and I personally start to warm to him, then he fights and has his press conference/post fight melt down and I go back to thinking he's a bit of a prat, shame.

Bull, Any Bellew interview where it be ringside , IFL or even when he is in the sky studio he is delusional

in Wales when Clev came back, Clev was very decent towards him saying me and the big man could fight, his reaction was a disgrace.

He is a idiot and a dislikable one at that.

its funny that he doesnt use weight draining as an excuse for the stevenson humiliation but does for cleverley. Surely, he would have been tighter for the latter fight

Cannot wait for Huck to flatten him if he gets that far. Ofalabi would mess him up as well

In the press conference after the fight bellew was talking about ending cleverlys career and ensuring he never boxes again. In a sport where people have died or have been brain damaged in the ring it is poor form for bellew to carry on like that.

I think if he loses it will all turn sour for him in hearn as well.

It's a shame because it clear he just has issues with his temperament and self control which causes him to act on impulse in press conferences etc. To say you want to ensure someone never fights again (essentially causing them permenant damage) is just plain wrong, whether it's in aid of hyping the fight or not.

When bellew is a pundit I like him, he does really know his stuff (with the exception of his opinion on kovalev and some questionable scorecards he's given out). He just needs to calm down and take a look at some of his actions from an outside perspective and see how it makes him look to the general public. People in Liverpool will support him regardless I'm sure, but for someone who comes across really well when he isn't actually involved in the fight he's talking about, it's sad to see him alienating basically all boxing fans from outside of Liverpool.
