Haha it's fine pal, I have spent the best part of 6 days around a lot of Scousers enjoying a bit of back and forth!

The worst thing about Bellew is he seems to pride himself on being a genuine man, but then proceeds to contradict himself and become a complete hypocrite based on his current agenda, because of this I can never take anything he says seriously, when the camera is on him I literally switch off.

The fact he still doesn’t seem to acknowledge Haye’s leg gave out is laughable as well, somehow his boxing brain did it. Haye was as bad taking the fight and giving Tony his grand standing win…

Maybe we should have a man of the people Heavyweight tournament

    Anthony Joshua
    Tyson Fury
    Oleksandr Usyk
    Anthony Bellew

I think I know who wins this, in and out of the ring, and he's not from these shores

I'm no Bellew fan but give the man his dues, the majority of the "hardcores" said he was going to get iced badly by Makabu.

Froch regardless of his personality has to get some credit just because he actually achieved a lot and fought the best. Bellew conned the British public twice against Haye

    Usyk
    Briedis
    Dorticos
    Gassiev
    Glowacki

They were all far better than Makubu at the time, he dodged them all and continued too after the tournament whilst he joined the circus that was his Haye double header.

That KO from Usyk is one of the most satisfying ever. The pace he put on Tony was sickening.

He was Evens at the bookies. It’s not this heroic underdog win he claims it is, Makabu’s knee went ffs, Bellew was a decent fighter but he’s a complete company man cringe bellend of a feller

I never thought you did. My point, at the start, was that Makubu wasn't even one of the top cruisers at the time, despite being the belt holder. The list I gave was to say who was ahead of him, 4 of whom were in a tournament together that Bellew avoided. You were saying give the man his dues but he was avoiding those names and just fighting Makubu, who was the easy option. Bellew stated years ago that he'd like to fight Dorticos but when things get serious he went running.

That fight was payback for the Haye circus. The pace and angles Usyk stuck on him to finish it, were even more satisfying because the commentators were hyper at Bellew's supposed high-tempo start. Usyk sucked it up as easily as he suckered Bellew - and the commentators - in.
