For what its worth Flea I took this thread and most of the comments in it to be constructive criticism rather than just slagging Tony off after a poor performance.

That's because Gaz, like most rational posters on here, you can see it for what it is.

i thinkfrank warren got him a comonwealth title to soon, he also thought that ajisaf would be easier than mckenzie, and alow bellew to avoid him on the grounds of beating the man who beat the man, boxing a funny game, bellew who had little pro rounds behind him, at present can't fight and beat either mckenzie, who is to tough and seasoned, or mcintosh, who stands a strong chance of putting his lights out, he had great beleif in himself, wich is to be recomended, but boxing reality is another matter, he is the exact oposite of most good amateurs he can punch but can't box, . ajisaf was good experience for him, and to be fair is tough and awkward, bellew needs to be up at cruiser, his snap will last longer, stands a descent chance with dolan etc , he's drained at lightheavy, also is lacking in lightheavy agility, to go much further he needs to move up in weight.:good

So what if he's with the Ingles how does that translate into the fight? The only thing McIntosh and Ajisafe have in common is Bob just happens to have Dom Ingle in his corner. Their styles are nothing alike.

Bob isn't a typical Ingle fighter. He has good fundamentals, Ingle fighters are unorthodox and are not fundamentally sound. I wish people would stop saying it was the Ingle style that caused Tony problems.

Bob was giving Tony problems with his southpaw stance, slipping his telegraphed punches and movement. Which means other fighters can do it too, including those who fight out of the orthodox stance and that is what should be concerning us Bellew fans the most.

I would love to see Tony face McIntosh. I think Danny is made to order for Bellew. McIntosh has no fundamentals, fights off the wrong and would walk into Tony's power shots...that's the Ingle style! He wouldn't give him any of the problems Ajisafe gave him.

You got a fragile ego there - really big talk comeback post - did I wound your pride ?

I thought your post was out of order saying that Flea was gonna get his teeth smashed in as I didnt realise you know Flea and were jesting.

And now cos I dared question your post I'm being threatened with violence. :rofl

I've said it before so no point in me going on about the fight, Everyone can have an off night, I could name a list of fighters to be honest but I won't... I could also make numerous excuses but again I won't as that would be taking away from Ajisafe... The bottom line is I beat a very very awkward guy in an ugly fight were I really did under perform..

However I did win and that cannot be disputed and I will be fighting on October 23rd and putting things right and fighting to my usual expectations hopefully, People should remember 1 bad fight does not make a bad fighter especially one he won...;) Styles make fights and here is to hoping I get a style that will gel with mine next time although it'll be a completly different fighter who climbs through the ropes come October 23rd..;)

Once again thanks for the support and the critisisims..:good

You'll be alright mate. Keep working hard and it'll all come good. Even on an off night you had him in trouble many times.
    Good luck for the 23rd

    We'll all be watching!!!

Tony, without coming across as a top of the range ass licker I gotta commend you for your honest appraisals of that performance.
You've already stated that you wish to draw a line under that performance so I won't press you on it.

However. . . . . you have stated that there's a few things in the pipeline for Oct 23rd which is 3 weeks on Saturday. What's the scoop on opponents and what's on the line - if anything - for you? Commonwealth defence, British eliminator?
