Thats Dannys style and he'll never change

Paup, its difficult to make a proper comparison given that its three years since Clev boxed Danny....I suspect that he would have done a better job on him last night than he did back in 2009

Fair comment ice, but I'd say clev had had about the same amount of fights as bellew had when he beat him

Yeah, Shame though cos he's talented really and could be a lot better then he really is IMO.

And Cleverly's body shots played absolutely no part in that?

Agreed. All Tony did was show he was much better than this level.

Hopefully onwards and upwards from here.

    Onwards & upwards hopefully & at a rapid pace:bbb

It was a good preformance. I hope to see him step up again has Tony done a Sky deal? As if he did its the best move to make. If it is working with the Hearns he may well get a shot at another World title by the end of the year. Still think he needs 1 more fight with a top 10 fighter then send him out against any of the champions in the division and you just never know he may well become a World Champion.

He's as fit as a butchers dog but just seems to want a tear up. I think that unfortunately he comes from a kick boxing background.....if he'd been picked up earlier as a boxer things might have been different. (great character)

Flea....you said something ages ago, maybe a couple of years since and I agreed with you, but we both basically got laughed at. Conteh, can you remember?. I honestly see Contehesque footwork in Tony Bellews work, he is minimal, precise and accurate with his work, judges distance beautifully and its actually a thing of beauty....at least to someone who appreciates old school skills

And he still couldn't convincingly beat nathan cleverly, people on here are getting carried away its becoming a joke. Cleverlys a paper champ and bellew failed to beat him and it speaks allot about his ability.

even bellew knew he lost the fight where was bellews usual antics post fight .where was the usual scouser nonsense. ''oh i'll support tony bellew because hes big and hard and full of raw emotion''. he beat a domestic level oponent who hadn't fought in a year and was coming off a KO loss from a featherfisted european champion, that should say enough.
