Tony Bellew David Haye The Gloves Are Off

Bellew for me doesn't talk about this fight with any conviction, he constantly talks about how good Haye's power is and even admitted that if Haye lands one on his chin then he will go to sleep. Nothing about Bellews dimenna suggests he believes he can win this fight, I've seen bigger mis matches than this before where the underdog has had more confidence than what Bellew has.

 

I know that Haye isn't the sharpest tool in the box, but he's embarrassingly simple minded. The lack of reasoned argument, and inability to answer questions or make eye contact was absolutely cringeworthy. He truly is a mental midget.

This looked and sounded like a petulant 6 year old trying to argue and debate with an adult.

Its as clear as day what Bellew is doing, only Haye doesn't seem intelligent enough to figure it out for himself. Bellew knows he won't be able to stand and trade with him, so he's trying to goad him and plant seeds in Hayes head, so that Haye will come rushing out looking for the KO, and hopefully blow himself out after a few rounds.

Haye is an obvious favourite due to the size difference and power advantage, but for him to sit there and say " you could hit me with your best shot and it would just bounce off " is laughable. It really would be something else if Bellew can find that chin, because i honestly believe that Haye would go to pieces if he was tagged hard.

 

I see the total opposite mate. Bellew totally believes in himself, his self belief is bordering on disillusional at times actually, but credit to him.
Every fighter knows deep down that a slip in concentration (unless there fighting an absolute pudding) and they could get sparked. Bellew is honest and acknowledges that, Haye is never going to give him the satisfaction of acknowledging it though. He lives in a celeb world on his past reputation. Bellew is more grounded and honest.

 

Bellew knows he hasn't got a chance in hell at beating Haye. He's just in it for the payday. Take a look at some of his old posts on here about Haye.

This doesn't sound like a man who apparently knew he was going to fight Haye one day after sparring him 13 years ago. Bellew talks so much **** it's not even funny. The moment Haye lands a punch on Bellew it's lights out. Joke of a 'fight'

 

Yes it is a joke of a fight but it's what we have come to expect from Haye. Fleecing his own fans in the Fraudley PPV, running for 12 rounds vs Wlad, ducking out of two fights with Fury, fighting two cab drivers then declaring he's back, fighting a cruisweight instead of a ranked HW.

David Haye is a joke.
