Until there's one set of rules for every professional boxer, in every country, the whole thing is a shambles.

Take the Fury's case. They were warned about "elevated levels" at first. A year later they were charged. A year or more after that, a settlement was agreed where no ban was served for either fighter. The backdated stuff was nonsense. Tyson was in self-self-inflicted exile, Hughie's career continued.

Canelo. One of, if not the biggest star in the sport, failed a drug test. Six months later he fought in the biggest fight of the year. A few months after that, he signed the biggest money deal the sport has ever seen.

Now we have Billy Joe Saunders. A man who's British, was tested in Britain and has been backed as innocent by the British boxing board of control. But because his scheduled fight was in the States, he's been found guilty. Until the appeal of course.

All the above fighters cried innocent with excuses and because of the lack of transparency in each case, and obvious incompetence from certain organisation's and their systems, all have valid arguments in their favour. Therefore, uneducated fans like ourselves have no right to brandish fighters innocent or guilty, when the organisation's can't get it right, nor transparent. Either does Tony Bellew, who tells us at every opportunity he knows nothing about PED's, before choosing whether he's for or against a fighter. If you believe otherwise, show me your certificates please.

Until there's one list of rules for every fighter, in every country, with the same zero tolerance suspensions for any listed substance or stimulant, we can only assume every fighter is pushing the flawed system as far as it can go. If you believe Anothny Joshua has never taken a PED in his boxing career, you've your head in the sand. His physique has changed significantly since he signed up for more testing. He got away with it because the system was flawed. He's since signed up for more testing and credit to him for that, I suppose.

Everyone is guilty of picking and choosing their opinions on each case and fighter. We need a system in place to crush those opinions, or else have no system at all. Ironically, the latter is fairer than the current situation.

Like others have mentioned, if Bellew knows a fighter personally he lets them off, others he tears into. Would be a sight to behold if AJ ever failed a drugs test with Bellew having his tongue firmly lodged up AJ's crack.

Bellew's gob is boring now, hopefully Usyk puts him out of his misery next month and the div actually keeps to his word and retires.

Seems the easiest solution at the moment. The agencies and rules are all over the place.

How is Dom on Eddie's payroll? Surely he is on the payroll of his fighters (BJS being one of the biggest).
