it would set a wayward precedent for "major" repeat offence crimes to be mediated by "good deeds", that would be too easy for major criminals to manipulate. Sadly the law is about precedents, not whats right.

Personally i think the guy has lost enough, which is everything aside from infamy. Its not like he was living the fat cat high life and never will now, cycling is a horrible lifestyle and world infamy is worse, though he was a burk to others as i maintain.

boxer can kill people though, bellew is right.

Yeah I suppose, but at least if someone is gonna break the law, I'd rather they were at least doing something good for society during their reign of terror than doing nothing. I'm not saying let them off the hook completely, but maybe go a little easier on those that have put something back in.

Why can't the controllers and aparatchiks who run these nanny states just leave us all alone so we can all watch or even participate in non tested athletics. The human condition is geared towards surpassing the limits of possibility, it is what drove us to the stars and what drives our most special humans to achieve.

Nothing is fair, some people have higher natural hormonal levels while others are just more resourceful and intelligent there is no way to level the playing field so get out of the way and let humans be humans.

Bellew is a hypocrite who is grandstanding for attention. Anyone who thinks he has never used PED's is beyond help.

the debate is whether his view is right, not about him. This may have escaped your attention, or perhaps you are trying to reply to me "without replying" for fear of reply.

God help us if tony bellew was the model man we had to aspire to.

People like you need to be told what to do and led around on a leash. Your whole country is being filmed/watched and they are enacting new laws every day to lock up it's citizens.

Sport is gonna hit a crossroads in 20, 30 or 40 years time when there are major advances in 'genetic therapy', where you will literally be able to alter the genetics of your child before it is born to give yourself a designer baby. Also will probably be able to alter the DNA of adult humans.

They've already done tests on mice, so far though, they can only alter them to be significantly more muscular (which actually slows them down significantly), so it is still pretty crude, but major breakthroughs are probably only just round the corner.

my guess is that tests would be able to spot this too. tests would advance not far behind these advances.

but both advances are conjecture in humans right now.
