I thought we were talking about John mate? John is worth only about 1 million today and that’s probably gifted from Tyson.

peter had a gym in Monaco because he had many connections and money through underground boxing

    drug money is seized

Tyson was very close with them growing up no?

And from what I heard Peter paid a fine which was a fraction of what he earned. Many thought it was a controversial deal for the CPS to have agreed to from the sounds of it.

I find it hard to believe Tyson grew up skint.

You ‘heard’ a fraction. No. They had next to nowt, although no mortgage to pay I guess

Growing up was a struggle for Tyson and his family

He's said a few sensible things to be fair but they're grotesquely outweighed by all the nonsense he spews lol

meh Iv mellowed to bellew and David Haye.

My main problem with bellew is his biased commentary and scoring of anyone from liverpool

I meant the Furys as a family. It was my understanding that both brothers were involved but Peter was in charge.

Either way I find it hard to believe that the family behind a multi millionaire drug empire had their children grow up in financial hardship.

I'm also not bothered about this enough to continue debating it really. The point was that those who want to paint Joshua as the devil don't tend to apply that standard to others within boxing.

Same here. I don't mind Haye now and I don't dislike Bellew as much as I used to

Saying he didn't complain is bizarre. Complain about being the beneficiary of a robbery?

My point was simple. Fury's a fighting man, so was his opponent who was robbed. Saying he's a fighting man doesn't address the robbery. You could as easily say 'Fury's from Manchester' or 'Fury's bald' or make any other true assertion. Not relevant. I agree Fury didn't score it btw. He benefited from it though and continues to do so, to this day as Wilder might put it:

he didn’t complain when he was asked about the scoring, he thought John probably edged it. Then gave him a rematch. Relax
