One question to boxrec guys: What the **** is wrong with you???? http://boxrec.com/en/ratings?offset=&sex=M&division=Heavyweight
Just a bi product of the algorithm Boxrec uses, unfortunately. A highlighted marker of the flaws in whatever their formula is. He had 407 points last month when he was ranked the 3rd best CW (also laughable, refer to avatar), Boxrec recognises that he's staying at HW after confirmation of the Haye rematch so they slide him in there with the same amount of points. It just so happens that 407 points is enough to land him second because Wilder hasn't fought anybody and Povetkin's last win was against #36 ranked Rudenko. Personally I think your rating at a new division should revolve around your achievements in that division, and not be carried over from your achievements in your last. Boxrec obviously see things differently.
