Frank didn't do anything for Bellew which didn't benefit him. If you think if gave him the title shot in Liverpool for Bellew's sake, you're wrong. He did it because he knows Bellew will sell out an arena because he's a likable lad and a very good fighter, from a proud fighting city. It made financial sense for Frank. If Cleverly could sell out venues like that, it would have taken place in Wales but he can't, so it didn't.

And, regardless of profession, if someone isn't being paid, they deserve better.

Makes you realise how hard it is to make money in this game. Wonder how much Ovill got for gubbing Dodson - no more than 10k I would say.

Even footballers in the second division can make a grand a week.

 

Non league footballers can make near that, my mate was on £850 a week and £150 goal bonus when he played for Welling in the Blue Square south.
