Got to laugh at Bellew calling David Haye out, i reckon Haye would KO Bellew 2 rounds tops.

I've seen absolutely nothing for years that proves that Haye is still a top level fighter. 3 1/2 years out the game and he's come back to beat a couple of lads that I would be reluctant to have as doorman outside a weatherspoons.

Instead of just saying Haye would KO him in a round or whatever, I would love to actually read a post by someone that puts forward an opinion as to why we should still be considering Haye as a top lever fighter...because I can't see it.

I've heard Haye described as "The Pied Piper Of Casual Boxing Fans" and I think it sums him up perfectly.

If Haye can make the weight he destroys Bellew with ease. And Price on the same night.

Why do you think that, mate, have you been impressed with what you've seen from him since his return?

Haye knocks Bellew out no problem. Price gets ko'd by a strong breeze - Haye would render him unconscious.

His level of opponent has been poor but his power is still real & his speed is still very good, arguably still the fastest at HW level. I don't know if he's Tyson Fury or AJ level anymore but I do know he is levels above Bellow and with the bookies placing Haye as the the 2/17 favourite, they seem to agree.

    So Bellew beats him, IYO?

Haye is LEAGUES ahead of Tony in EVERY department.

    Head movement? Haye
    Power? Haye

He took shots off Wlad and never got put down, whereas Tony got FOLDED by Stevenson and has been wobbled by old men at CW.

Haye would murder him. Even this version of Haye (older & slower) would still maul Tony.

Let's not act as if Tony is in his prime here! He's been mediocre at CW, a division he SHOULD have been in time ago due to cutting weight, and once he was there he looks as if he's ate his way there. He's SUPER slow at CW. Haye, although slower than usual, is still fast compared to Tony.

Tony, if he goes up, will look and perform like absolute sh*t. He ATE his way up to CW, and he'd just do the same to go to HW. Because of that EVERYTHING would be a lot worse off for him (speed, stamina etc).

And NO WAY ON EARTH did Price bounce Haye around. Haye back then was waaaay too slick for someone as robotic as David.

No mate, I think Haye would have to be favourite. I wanted to read explanations from posters instead of just 'Haye smashes him'. I do think Bellew could hurt him though, if Haye isn't the same force then you can't write Tony off.

    Good post by the way.

I watched an interview with Tony on Sky the other day where Bellew said Haye can fight him for his world title which suggests he's not actually serious about stepping up to HW, so this fight is a non starter as there is no way Haye will go down to CW and Bellow knows this.
