Usyk is 37. AJ is 34. In three years, Usyk will be over 40, and AJ will still only be 37. The longer he waits, the greater his age advantage becomes.

 

Yet you have people saying Usyk is declined at 37 and should retire. This magically won't apply to AJ as well?

 

It might apply to AJ, but IMO, age will affect Usyk's style much more than AJs. Power is the last thing to go.

 

Usyk also has good power (really underrated too), and AJ losing more mobility will only favour Usyk more even if he declines himself.
