No way could bellew make supermiddleweight, if he did he would be very weak with no power, i saw him at heavyweight and since dropping down to lightheavy he has lost power a drop to supermiddleweight all his power would go, he would have to change his nick name:good
I have also seen this guy fight, he was on eurosport about 6 months ago, he will be a hard fight for bellew, i take my hat of to tony for takeing this fight, shows he is very serious about his boxing and his career
All the very best Bomber man! Top guy and in my top 5 best prospect at the moment, do the buisness big man
I think this is a good fight. 10 rounds with Stieglitz is good form, the German is a solid fighter who has beaten such names as Balzsay and Berrio. If he can stop him that would be quite impressive.
Looks your typical East Euro tough guy. Plodder with tight defence and a dig. Cant see any probs for Tony Bellew. He'll open him up with the jab and make an easy nights work of it. He certainly wont have to go looking for the fella. Good chance to showcase his skills:good
It is another opportunity to get some more rounds in the bank for Tony. It is an opportunity for him to be able to put into practice what he is working in the Gym on with Arnie.:bbb It is also an opportunity to get himself on TV and start to make people sit up and listen when they here his name in the future..:happy I don't think it is a pointless match up, it is all about earning and learning at this stage of his career, although you could argue that you are earning and learning all the time in the paid ranks...:yep It is pointless whacking everyone out early doors, down the line it is rounds in the bank and developing ring savvy that will enable a fighter to be able to make the transition from fighter to Champion.. I think that Ryan Rhodes showed last weekend, that it was his experience that enabled him to fight Moore at his own game and then lift the bar when required...He had plenty of learning fights, and some of them were defeats too... You know my view on where Tony Bellew is going to go...I have been posting it on here and other sites from a long time ago... Good luck Tony...:good
Not sure now mate to be honest. I know all this Commonwealth talk came late in the day, they weren't talking about it until Sunday last week. He'd previously been told he had Ajisafe... I think there is a strong possibility the next fight will be for a title but I don't know any more than you at this stage! He's got this bloke firmly on his mind for now... You going to Liverpool on Fri?
Tony will win a confortable points decision, no ko this time though. As i said previously, not so bad that he is "trusted" to takle on this fight. I like how frank is bringing him along. He has got to be tested at some point, and as someone previously, and correctly pointed out, there isn't a great amount of quality LH in the country at the moment, so looking further afield is a neccesary evil, but one that tony qill continue to cope with
