I think Hearn, in association with the situation surrounding Covid, has really damaged the PPV model with Povetkin Whyte and Chsora Usyk. Those matchups weren't a million miles away from Haye v Audley. He had a very good run with big buys for Froch Groves Haye Bellew and Joshua but he's got greedy and he hasnt had anyone to reign him in, certainly not Adam Smith. He is surrounded by yes men and cheerleaders and hes derailed the gravy train. By having so many he's driven people towards other ways of watching while if he had a couple of first rate PPV shows annually, I'm sure many more people would be happy to pay. The PPVs have also meant that the Saturday Fight Nights are very poor and his use of women's boxing to fill cards with ' world title ' fights is incredibly cynical. The card on Saturday, minus the main event wasnt even a decent SFN. I'm sick of being told that we've being offered quality when clearly we havent . It reminds me of when Premier League football came to Sky 30 years ago and they were pushing a narrative so Swindon 0 Oldham 0 would be made out to be the match of the season. They soon realised that this was ridiculous but all these years later the dipsh1ts at Matchroom and Sky and trying the same thing again. You cant fool all the people all the time.
