'5 recognised World titles' :rofl It is this kind of thinking that is ruining this sport. Bellew and cleverly are owed nothing: if they want to reach the upper echelons they need to beat the best on the way up. Us British fans should expect nothing less. If either were to lose, tough titty, they'll have to come back from it. Bellew will win anyway :yep Ero: fantastic post :good
cleverley as been boxing maybe half his time with uni and won everything domestically, just an observation bellew is full time aint he shouldnt it be him with all the titles? what happens now clev is full time he is going to get even better good fight i see clev walking away with the win at this moment in time imo
I didn't know that...what subject??...besides, that might just demonstrate the lack of domestic depth at 175
This fight is being blown out of all proportion, neither have looked awesome to date and neither have really fought any body evenly matched to date. The expectations for this fight are not going to be lived up to.
Flea man ive highlighted the bits you chose not to read or to ignore in what i was saying :good I happen to agree with you , there are some fighters out there not worthy of being branded as a " world champion " certainly more than we would like to see as fans ......................... , and the unification aspect when you have two men deserving the title " world champion " facing each other to unify , for me there is nothing better , however my take on Bellew and Cleverley is why rush them , there not even half way to fulfilling there full potential as fighters what the ****in hell is the rush FFS !!!! They are both very young , and i personally want to see these two on a bigger stage and (key point) as better fighters ............................ when they do decide to make the fight
I'll guarentee the expectation will be matched, That is the only thing I could guarentee, This fight is miles away and like I say I have proved nothing yet, Knocking Ajisafe out is a step in the right direction then onto McIntosh who should be a good measuring stick although I think he'll be a better fighter than when Clev fought him as he's changed trainers and is now under Graham Everett! A good coach! Had he stayed with the Ingles it would have been over very fast, I mught have to break him down when I meet him. Clev is a good fighter however I feel I have the beating of him and have it in spectacular fashion also, That's just my opinion though guys, Everyone is entitled to there opinion.. I can see the reasons for both sides of the argument though, I'll finish with this, I have not showed 50% of what I have yet as someone has not stayed in front of me long enough or come to win.. Time will tell though I feel. In 12 months time I think we'll be on the verge of a huge domestic summer fight.. HOPEFULLY....:good Thanks for the support too guys
