Carrasco dances away from Purdy's powerful left hook. Nice shots by Carrasco jumping in with left hooks to the body and whipping rights to the head. BIG RIGHT HAND COUNTER by Purdy. Carrasco keeps running circles around him and jumping in with punches in bunches before darting back out and circling more. Everything from Carrasco in combination. Purdy is more selective, loading up BIG SHOTS. Carrasco is WOBBLED by a right hand. LEFT HOOK BY PURDY!! Carrasco dances to his left, tossing a jab and right hand. Now a light right hand from Carrasco tickles the jaw of Purdy to pave the way for a left hook that doesn't budge Purdy a bit. Wild Carrasco uppercut gets him countered and knocked into the ropes as he keeps hopping around Purdy without ever setting his feet to punch. The commentators call Carrasco's offense a "jumble" which is accurate.

Round 3

Purdy is laying down the leather - and the law. Carrasco is giving him plenty of openings as he jumps in with overhand and uppercut combos to head and body respectively, letting Purdy lines up chopping rights down the middle. Carrasco is getting buzzed but still flitting about and never letting Purdy land more than once at a time, not that Purdy is trying to. BIG body shot by Purdy. Carrasco doubles his jab and hops away. Right hand from outside by Carrasco. Big left hook to the body by Purdy with a short leap forward. Carrasco throws a jab and uppercut and gets countered HARD with a right to the jaw, shaken to the core!! Carrasco is showing a hell of a lot of heart and chin, staying on his feet and throwing first and last in every exchange but getting rumbled!!! Carrasco is forced to hold as Purdy begins to string together "combos" of two shots...three at a stretch if you count the set-up left hooks to the body.

Carrasco tries to lean over to his left and plant a hook on Purdy's body from a side angle, but can't slow him. BIG RIGHT HAND BY PURDY, INCREDIBLY WELL TIMED!!! CARRASCO IS DOWN HARD!! UP!! PURDY MOVES IN, BLOCKING A LEFT HOOK AND RIGHT HAND. RIGHT GUARD BY PURDY. LOOPING RIGHT!! BIG LEFT HOOK TO THE BODY!! CARRASCO FALLS TO HANDS AND KNEES!! UP AGAIN!! BIG UPPERCUT JUMPING IN BY CARRASCO!! PURDY LANDS A CHOPPING RIGHT!! THEY EXCHANGE BLOWS!! CARRASCO KNOCKED DOWN BY A RIGHT HAND INTO THE ROPES!!

KO4!!!
