Tony Bellew vs. Edison Miranda RBR

Miranda has begun walking out.

 

Round 1

Bellew circles left and checks Miranda's jab with his own, doubling it up. Bellew is keeping a safe distance for now, starting cautiously. Double jab chases Miranda back a step. Right hand by Bellew ducked, gliding over the curve of Miranda's spine. Miranda stalks and jabs but doesn't open up too ferociously, cautious himself. A few left hooks charging in and falling short by Miranda but he pulls back out before Bellew can punish him. Nice stiff jab by Bellew. 1-2-1-2 to the body and head by Bellew. Miranda floats some jabs and misses. Bellew lands his and steps off to the left. Double jab by Bellew as Miranda crouches and tries to sneak in low.

Round 2

Bellew is stepping around Miranda and jabbing at him. BIG RIGHT HAND BY MIRANDA, LOOPED INTO BELLEW'S LEFT CHEEK AND ROCKING HIM!! Bellew tosses back from the ropes, trading freely. Miranda misses wildly as Bellew manages the jab and hook with pinpoint accuracy. Another right by Miranda gets through just as Bellew had made his way off the ropes!! Bellew circles right and chops Miranda in the head with his own hard right hand. BIG left hook by Miranda misses as Bellew steps back. Bellew rushes in with a 1-2 to hold Miranda back and the crowd roars. Left hook to the body by Miranda. Another right to the face!!

10-9 Miranda, had by far the best moments even though Bellew's overall work was cleaner.
