Navarette is circling to his left and leaving the jab out suspended in mid-air. Smith moves in to counter past it, but Navarette awakens from his put-on daydreaming and jabs Smith before taking a wide step to his left to evade incoming fire. Smith is approaching cautiously, fishing with 1-2s downstairs from outside. Navarette is stepping carefully around the ring, back just off the ropes, keeping Smith walking into his jab trap.

Navarette is circling away, jabbing once and then pivoting on the ball of his lead foot, keeping distance and keeping Smith from getting set. Right hand leads poked in by Smith, and clusters of straight punches on the stomach from mid-range. Jab by Smith moving inside and then laterally while Navarette holds firm and watches him.

Round 4

Navarette is looking to counter Smith's jab and right hand lead with a 1-2 but is a bit slow on the draw. Smith is jabbing and feinting a hook at mid-range, stepping in and out of range lightly. Jab and rocketing right by Smith, picked off on Navarette's guard. Smith ducks and has a look at Navarette, starting and pulling a body shot, then moves left and jabs up into Navarette's guard.
