Nice win for Fielding. This is my first time seeing him, it looks like minor ABC belt is about the right level for him. Seems a bit too ordinary to make noise on the world level. Decent scrap while it lasted.

Yeah, I remember, was just a bit of cheek in likening them.

I certainly don't feel that Rocky is ready to use this Alcoba victory to springboard into a two-fight rivalry with Carl Froch, as Groves did. :yep

Think Eddie is going to go the WBA route with Fielding and once Fielding is into a mandatory position Froch might retire and Fielding will go for the regular WBA title.

Those are ridiculous odds. Skelton has a good punchers chance in the first few rounds, the old man can still crack and bring pressure.

Would you say Skelton is a step up for Joshua?

Skelton is 47... Not a lot of fighters currently active older than that.

Hopkins and the fat slob that is ol' "Bronco" Billy Wright... Who's 49 and actually recently stopped ESB's own Chauncy Welliver :dead

This whole card is pretty **** in terms of being stacked with one sided fights (on paper at least). I can only hope that Cleverly somehow gets sparked out by the Argie cab driver he's facing so that the Bellew fight is taken off of the table. That'd serve Hearn right for having the audacity to further delay the rematch (neither Nathan's or Tony's fights tonight do anything to further build the rematch).

I was about to say "Didn't Bowe just call someone out? :D" but even Bowe is a year Skelton's junior.
