    This seems weird as on the WBC website he was ranked 29th!! Unless that wasn't up to date after his international title win and that put him in the top 10. Can see it being one of Eduard Gutknecht or Isaac Chilemba as I'm sure he stated he would love a fight against Gutknecht

    The rankings are not up to date on the WBC site.

    Gutknecht is defending agaisnt Braehmer in December so its not him.

    Chilemba was scheduled to fight Tony before (albeit, before people knew just how good Chilemba was).

    He was scheduled to fight Clev' as well. Never happened.

    Still, if Bellew wants to make the move into 'world class' he should be able to take this next step about now. Not like he's being matched up with Campillo, is it?

    a Kell Brook style eliminator rather than a final eliminator. Just a tagline to help sell the fight.

    I think with the WBC they have a policy of making fights, then ranking the fighter accordingly.

    I think a lot of these BS eliminators just mean that the loser is eliminated from a world title shot and the winner isn't. With that criteria the number 23 guy fighting the number 35 guy is still an eliminator.
