That's a solid fight. Lev is really good but he can be beaten.

He hadn't fought at Welterweight for 17 you ****ing idiot. And explain to me how Lebedev got KTFO, I think we need to redefine the meaning of that phrase on here to actually being out cold on the canvass. Lebedev wasn't close to being KTFO. Both men were exhausted and Lebedev misshapen eye was the size of a small football.

Right now Lebedev is the king of the hill aka cruiser weight division.

He would probably wipe the floor with Bellew and knock hiim out within the first 3 rounds.
Lets not forget that we are talking about a guy who lost to Cleverly, drawed with Chilemba and was lucky to get a point decision over Masternak!
Even this old version of Lebedev is head and shoulders about Bellew.
Sure,I take my hat off to him for his victory over the congoles banger.Well done job! I wouldnt have put a single coin on the Brit before their encounter. He honestly suprised me by stopping the African.Nevertheless,Lebedev plays in a totally different dimension.
Therefore I very much doubt that Bellew wants to share the ring with him.He is just using the Russian good name to boost his reputation. There are dozens of fellow cruisers who can easily beat him.Lebedev for sure can.He is the last human being on earth Bellew wants to fight inside a ring.:nut

Yep Jones is a cheat, if there is one.
It was a crazy fight that should be turned to NC.

But honestly props to Tony for calling our other champs. You're supposed to unify if you have a belt :thumbsup

He has to fight either Drozd, Lebedev or Briedis. Either way he gets beaten savagely by all three.

Bellew is playing it smart... Calling out Haye and Lebedev. He'll lose to Haye at HW then drop back down and drop the belt in a big unification. He can make millions and retire here should he play his cards right.

I think that's all bravado on Bellew's part. He called out Haye to fight him ... at Cruiserweight.

I doubt Haye can make 200lbs any more. Anyway, if the fight happens at Heavyweight, Bellew gets obliterated. Meanwhile at Cruiserweight, Lebedev destroys Bellew, regardless of where the fight is held.

Jones got terribly OUTBOXED by Lebedev, Lebedev took him to school, and the only thing Jones had for Lebedev was opening a cut on his eye that got worst as the rounds went by and the fight had to be stopped (very rare for someone to WIN via messing someones eye) Lebedev would have outboxed him and won 9/10 times they fought, unless Jones manages to mess up Lebedev's eye again, which is not likely (this isn't a video game). Lebedev is ten times the boxer Jones is, and Jones had not competed at welterweight in over 17 or so years, in other words he filled up his frame to become a full fledged cruiser/heavyweight, so for you to say he was a welterweight proves your idiocy, every boxer starts out at a certain weight, and gradually fills up their frame to compete at their potential weight class, Jones started at welterweight, but he was NOT a natural welterweight

CST is right, you are an idiot.

Anyone faulting Lebedev for losing to Jones is an idiot. Jones was roided to the effing gills. It should've been ruled a N/C. I wasn't 100% sure Makabu would've beaten Bellew. I only conceded because a lot of the cruiserweight highbrows were too negative on Bellew. This fight. I'm 100% certain Lebedev kills Bellew.

Forget steroids, everyone is on them. What's important is that Lebedev was giving Jones a one sided beat down for most of the fight. If it wasn't for the cut Lebedev would have won a very comfortable UD, he was winning every round until his face became grotesque.

Oh, I just saw the article. That happened last year? BoxRec needs to be updated to show it.

Yes there are a few that will laugh, mock Bellew and predict his demise.

But you should be praising Bellew for wanting this type of fight and hope it happens. If this happens then Win or Lose at least he fought a very worthy opponent in a big fight.

It could be far worse, he could be talking deciders and talking Cleverly III
