Moore threw more punches in the half a round he lasted than Brooks opponent did all night. Sometimes Rob you just like to be the person on this forum that likes to go against the grain and say things that others wont agree with i'm sure of it. With regards to Bellew/Cleverley I think personally you're bang wrong but whatever I don't mind that, it's a difference of opinions in a potential fight. That will always happen :good But you say things on here which I genuinely believe to be out of spite. You had your little dig at Billy again today I noticed, now you come on to the thread THAT YOU KNOW BELLEW (a poster on here) WOULD READ and start mouthing off about how he did this and he said that and he didn't impress you etc etc) Not everyone on this forum can be wrong if pretty much everyone was impressed tonight. But NO - Rob Palmer ESB tough guy behind a keyboard wasn't impressed, and he thought he'd come on here to say so :-( **** Off
ok TFFP i will pm with my analysis of Bellew tonight. Giving my honest opinion on here I will just get slated.
Point well made mate. Bellew did everything asked of him tonight and took his opponent out in one round, so credit for doing all he could do, but lets see him deal with some better operators.
True enough, but then again James DeGale and very few others for that matter regularly take time out to talk to the fans on here. A little bit of effort goes a long way to building up an understanding with people. We can see through things like that and realize its part of the show, whereas the only time we get to hear from DeGale is through the media. I'm not one that crticizes DeGale though personally, I think he's been treated badly.
The man is a bomber no doubt but unfortunately the guy was a stiff. Glad to see him get the belt. He needs to get the British and then go after Euro.
I rate DeGale very highly - I think he is a future world champion and the pick of the bunch. But, he seems to think he is already a Marquee fighter and superstar. Needs to show a bit more humility.
Bellew was in action for what, 2 minutes? If you have any criticisms of him from tonight's performance then it is just nit-picking considering he got hit about twice and bombed the guy out. You can criticise his opponent, but not the performance.
