The boxing was brought a day forward 2 give the fans the possibility of seeing me, it's very thoughtful IMO @davidcoldwell @EddieHearn & Sky

I'd love to say it was all my doing but I'm not a promoter and am not even allowed to talk to the promoters promoting the #TheBigBang #FACT

I'm really happy to just be fighting, I've been out the ring since October and just basically left twiddling my thumbs! I cant wait to box!

The second one is fairly intriguing...

As long as he's under contract with Fwank he's not going to be allowed to talk to rival promoters is he?

Fwank should have won the purse bids then. I think Fwank is his manager too.

is that not a conflict of interest? being the manager trying to get the boxer the best deal, but being the promoter, have to negotiate with himself, ???

dont sound right, unless Fwank is a ****

Which is why it's illegal in US and should be here. it's no coincidence that the promoter in question doesn't pay his fighters on time.

Def. a conflict of interest , the manager has to negotiate with the promoter to get the most money for his boxer.

Don King did it for years. Had is son. Carl, manage them and he'd promote.

its stupid but you can see why so many of them fall for it. young lad meets with famous promoter. promoter tells them that he'll look after everything for them. boxer doesn't know better. boom. shafted.

It's not unusual for a promoter to also manage a fighter. Not necessarily a conflict of interest and can be beneficial for the athlete.

Its hard to stop because even if the promoter isn't the manager in name, he just gets a business partner to do it.
