I'm now hoping Fury takes this fight. Just so he can embarrass Bellew and anyone thick enough to believe he has a chance. Bellew doesn't land a glove on 28 stone Fury, never mind any other version. The man is desperate for one last big payday, and knows Fury is unlikely to leave him unconscious, therefore allowing him to ''get back to his family safe and well''. However, that doesn't take away from the fact it would be the most embarrassing night of Bellew's career, including the Stevenson humiliation.

****en Bellend hopefully Fury takes the fight and jabs his head so much that Bellend's brain rocks around to the stage where some realism get knocked into it..

Honestly he knew how shot Haye was thats why he made the fights but it almost like he beat prime Haye twice in his mind..

I can't see Fury ko'ing him but the sum of those jabs to the head will probably do more long term damage than a ko would..

Urgh, you can find pretty much everything that is wrong with modern boxing in that Bellew article.

And as for these comments about fighting the winner of Usyk vs Gassiev...

"That bout, with all the world cruiserweight belts on the line, would be my number one choice in a heartbeat if all of the options paid the same pot of money."

The guy has no shame and is a remorseless liar. He isn't fit to lace either of their boots and hasn't fancied facing a top 10 cruiser in years nevermind one of those pair.

It takes a hell of a lot for me not to support a British boxer. But I think Bellew has made the list. The sooner he retires ( preferably after being sparked out cold) the better it will be for British boxing.

Contradictory, one minute he says he doesn’t need to fight for money then uses money as an excuse for not fighting for the cruiser belts...

He doesn't deserve a shot at the WBSS winmer. He had his chance to be in the tournament but chose to fight a cripple instead.

How many genuine top 10 wins does he have ? 2? Chilemba and Makubu arguably.

I've never been able to stand bellew.

Remember back in the days when he came in as a late replacement for a cleverly fight?

He's done some great things considering his talent level. But sadly all the achievements havent prevented his insecurity and ego issues.

I respect the Bellew so much inside the ring but know that man sold his soul. One of the most underrated champions though, so much heart

Isn't it his job to sell the fight and make the money?
Bellew had his chance to fight in the tournament and earn good money doing it but I guess he knew he would have been out in the first round.

It's ok just con the British public again for a pay day.

Tony is the 4th rated heavyweight in Britain. Was stopped in a world title challenge at 175. Won a vacant title at 200 at home against a guy never heard from again. Lucked into two fights with a version of David Haye that couldn't even be described as a shadow of himself. This is the description of a guy Eddie Hearn considers a PPV star.
