There's certainly more action in the back and forth between Bunce and Bellew right now on Twitter than there was in the fight anyway . Bellew defending his stupid commments again and being defended by twitter pals.

Bunce, a fella who's never set foot in the ring himself, lecturing Bellew on the risks of getting in the boxing ring. As fans and pundits/journalists or whatever we're all entitled to our opinion. However, because we're not professional fighters ourselves we have no right to think we know better than an actual fighter about what can and can't be said and what can and can't be done in the ring, Steve Bunce included. He should the **** up but I guess he needs something to talk about on the Boxing Hour and bashing Eddie Hearn has got old now.

Bellew is fast running out of opportunities to impress and Sky Sports knows this. He simply is not that great once the bell rings.

Bellew talks like a Pit Bull, fights like a Yorkshire terrier.

Maybe after all the criticism (which will still be fresh in his mind seeing as the second fight is only 9 weeks away) Tony will feel 100% that he HAS to come out and do something and we'll get a little bit more action and urgency in the second fight

Wherever you stand on these things, Bellew just needs to get his head down and crack on with what he's doing and not get involved. Hearn was questioning after the fight whether Bellew expends too much energy in the build up. What he said before the first fight is done and dusted now and he can only dig himself a bigger hole by reacting to stuff.

There's one way he can make up for the first fight and all the chat and thats by knuckling down and putting Chilemba away. If that happens all this nonsense will soon be old news

i think bellew is simply a bully. so many cases of him running his mouth and acting like a lout but then trying to play the im-a-humble-liverpool-boy-me card. i never fell for it. the guy has reached his peak and hopefully chilemba gets the decision this time too. who wants to watch bellew any more anyway? hes got the most boring style out there and the problem is compounded by him talking like a bigshot before the fight and then fighting like a kitten in the ring. at least malignaggi is honest when he talks his bs and admits to having little power and using his skills for 12 rounds. with bellew we get "il leave yer unconscious" "il knock him out cold" "im willing to die in the ring" etc etc, then we get to see his best audley harrison impression in the ring

do you hear his screams at the end of the fight, he beats absolute stiff and doesn't look all that doing it, yet he celebrates like hes dethroned the p4p no.1 fighter

  10. Its funny looking at this thread now, where are all of Tony's defenders ? where have you all gone ?

Yeah he said something like "I did that!". Again back to being all aggressive once the fight ends.

To me it sounded like he said "I won that" while doing the Ray Lewis chest thump. Almost like he was trying to convince himself and the crowd.
